Tea Testing Lab Services
On September 25, 2023, China's National Health Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued GB 31608-2023: National Food Safety Standard for Tea, marking the country’s first mandatory food safety standard specifically for tea. As the only national-level food safety regulation covering tea products, GB 31608-2023 officially came into effect on September 6, 2024.
