Salt Spray Testing
ECQA provides salt spray testing services for metal products and coated components according to recognized standards including ASTM B117, ISO 9227, GB/T 10125, and JIS Z2371.
Testing can be performed using Neutral Salt Spray (NSS), Acetic Acid Salt Spray (AASS), Copper-Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray (CASS), and other corrosion testing methods according to the applicable product specification.
Salt spray testing is commonly used for fasteners, hardware, automotive components, powder-coated products, electroplated parts, outdoor products, construction components, and other corrosion-sensitive materials.
